The Evolution of Shoulder Season

If you’ve traveled to Europe during “shoulder season” (just before or after summer), you’ve likely noticed—it's no longer a secret. So, what’s next for the savvy traveler?

Now more than ever, timing is everything. We help our clients find the best moments to explore top destinations. Consider traveling in new seasons—winter in Europe is trending—or choosing lesser-known spots during peak months. Instead of the Greek islands, why not discover the charms of mainland Greece, all its incredible cultural areas and (yes) wonderful beaches along the coast?

Another strategy? Flip the seasons. Autumn in Patagonia (March–April) is a wonderland of fall color with fewer people. Visiting Argentina during the North American winter means enjoying Mendoza's wine country and tango in Buenos Aires. Swapping summer for ski adventures in June or July offers a fresh take on seasonal travel.
